BSc GIS (Hons)
This is a 1 year honours aimed at applicants intending to work in disciplines associated with the natural, geographical and computer sciences. The degree is intended to equip graduates with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge they need to incorporate GIS techniques in their every day work routine. Successful completion of the degree will qualify students for entry into the Master in GIS degree.

Honours students will be expected to complete a number of compulsory core courses as well as elective courses subject to approval of the course convenor and Head of Department.

Students are expected to choose advanced level courses from other departments within the University to get the correct number of credits for the degree. These courses should be chosen in consultation with the course convenor and HOD.
