Francis Carter

Senior Lecturer

Francis Carter teaches design in the MArch(Prof) Studio and architectural technology in the BAS(Hons) programme, with a focus on strengthening the links between design thinking and making. His post-professional qualification is in Higher Education Studies (MPhil, UCT), and his research area is architectural knowledge and curriculum theory. His academic administration work supports academic development. He is a registered architect, and currently does limited scope consulting work on inhabitation strategies in architectural brief development.
